iCagenda can not load for the following reason(s):

  • iC Library is not correctly installed or is not loaded.
  • A folder is missing.
It seems that extension is not correctly installed. Please install again the component iCagenda.
Alternatively:
  • check if iC Library and the system plugin iC Library are installed and enabled.
  • extract the installation archive and copy the admin/utilities directory inside administrator/components/com_icagenda/ directory.

GRINDSBROOK CLOUGH AND JACOB'S LADDER
Please meet at Edale Car Park S33 7ZL 9.30 for a prompt 9.45 start.
Please ensue your have £5 in old coins for the car park.

We walk through Edale and ascend the beautiful but challenging steep GRINDSBROOK CLOUGH on to the lower slopes of Kinder Scout. We then walk along the ridge with great views before descending down Jacobs Ladder, and the back into Edale.
This is a 12k, 4.5 - 5.0 hour walk which I had to change last year because of wet weather.

There are pubs on our return into Edale but no refreshment stops on the walk.
Please bring your own drinks and lunch.

Train from Piccadilly at 8.49 arriving at Edale 9.32
Return trains at 14.49; 16.49; 17.48. We will aim for the 16.49
