Beeston Castle

Peter is taking us on beautiful walk into the Peckforton Hills near Tarporley in Cheshire.   Certainly an area I have never been to.

It’s a 9 ¾ mile walk, in a figure of eight.  Starting point is Beeston Castle car park (post code CW6 9TX), which is pay and display but there might be street parking options. It takes in part of the Sandstone trail and the Peckforton Hills.  Nothing too strenuous, although Raw Head is the highest point of the Peckforton Hills, so needs to be got to for the view!

Peter will have options in mind should the day not be too good
