We meet at the George Inn,  Alstonefield,  Staffordshire, DE6 2FX ready to walk at 10.00  (SK 131556)

Treat yourself to spectacular rivers,  gorges and rock spires.  We will visit;  Halldale;  Dovedale;  Milldale;  Shining Tor;  Wolfscote Dale;   Narrowdale.  All in about 8.5 miles of spectacular walking.  Not difficult but some slippery parts by the river.  Not a walk to be missed.   Refreshments?  Yes of cause at the George Inn at the start and finish.

Alstonefield is off the A515 Ashbourne – Buxton road about 5 miles north of Ashbourne.
