 We are meeting at the

Hollingworth Lake Country Park and Visitor Centre (parking £2.20)

We plan to start walking at 10 am as usual but if you get there at around 9.30 time for coffee etc here in the Visitor centre ( then after for tea)

OR BY TRAIN

By train take the 9.27 from Manchester Victoria arriving at Littleborough at 9.55. If you get the train John will collect you as it is ½ mile from the start. If you want a lift, email John

CLOTHING

It is January so who knows what will be ‘throw’ at us. Remember it is never about bad weather, always the wrong clothing so come well-prepared. Gaiters could be useful

Bad Weather

Should the weather forecast on the previous day seem to be very bad for our walk please ring John to confirm if the walk is still on?  Should I be out I will put a message on the answering machine.
